BeschreibungB/W photographic postcard showing Bergen-Belsen concentration camp after its liberation on April 15, 1945. This image shows the destruction and burning of a building at the camp. As each of the barracks was cleared they were burned down to combat the spread of typhus. The ceremonial burning of the last barracks occurred on May 21, 1945.
