BeschreibungLarge b/w photograph from the wedding reception of Laszlo and Klari (nee Katz) Wagner in Budapest, October 1939. In attendance are 2 members of the Wagner family and 16 members of the Grunstein and Katz families, including Vilmos Katz (standing, far right, front). Vilmos Katz, a brother of the bride, was born 2 February 1926 in Hajdudorog, Hungary, to Jozsef and Matild (nee Grunstein) Katz. Prior to WWII he lived in Budapest and was a tailor. By mid 1944 he was in a forced labour camp in Hungary. He was killed in Kiskunhalas, Hungary, on 11 October 1944 when a group of 196 Jewish Boys was massacred. He was 18 years old.
