BeschreibungOne of 12 b/w photographs of the World Gathering of Jewish War Veterans on the Occasion of their Pilgrimage to Israel, held 14-25 September 1962. This photograph was taken at a luncheon in Beersheba following the ceremony at the Beersheba War Cemetery. It was hosted by the G.O.C. (General Officer Commanding) of the Israel Southern Command (centre). Harry S. Goldstein, President of the Australian Federation of Jewish Ex-Service Associations, is on the right and Neville Milston, Honorary Secretary of NAJEX, is behind.
