BeschreibungThis is a photograph of private Robert Platt (on the left) and another unknown soldier they are both in Australian Army uniforms. Private Platt was killed in an ambush in New Guinea on the 7/7/1945. In this photo both men are wearing the standard summer battle dress of the Australian army and Slouch hat.
