Hersteller Joseph Zweig
BeschreibungPair of sterling silver Shabbat candlesticks, hallmarked London 1918, purchased at an auction in London by antique dealer Alan Landis. Les and Sue Szekely purchased the candlesticks on behalf of Andrew and Kathy Szekely, on the occasion of Andrew's 90th birthday. Maker Joseph Zweig is most likely a Jewish silversmith. It is unusual to get a Jewish maker; only 1 percent of silversmiths are Jewish.
