"These documents are about my family, Slamowics, as well as others in Laca, Damo and Cseke. My late father, at great risk to himself, removed the documents to have as a record and for safe keeping, just in case they would be needed at a later date by surviving family members listed on them. We escaped from Hungary in 1956, with the clothing on our back, but my father took these documents with him. In all the life threatening danger we were in, this was of importance to him." Jody Somogy
