Miki (Mikulas) Dym joined the partisans in Slovakia. After the collapse of the National Uprising in October 1944, he went into hiding. He was murdered by a mobile SS killing squad in January 1945 in Nemecká, Slovakia, on 9 January 1945, together with 900 other victims.
