Teaching with photographs

Teaching the Holocaust with photographs requires tolerance. Some of the photographs discussed in this chapter are horrifying to behold: violence, vulnerability, and terror. Their sensitive content demands contemplation of the ethical implications of projecting them in our classrooms.
