Responses of Australian Jewry's leadership to the Holocaust

Concludes that only after the Holocaust, after the extinction of the centres of Jewish life, was Australia prepared to support the creation of a Jewish state as well as to offer - and this against the background of its demographic and economic expansion - a refuge to survivors of the Holocaust.
