The Leppington Jamboree was the 9th Australian Scout Jamboree held between December 1970 and January 1971. The Scouts are assembled around a table under a shelter and playing a card game together. It appears that the photograph was taken during the evening as gas lamps are being used in the centre of the table as a light source. A penned note on the back identifies the dating of the photograph.
