The Leppington Jamboree was the 9th Australian Scout Jamboree held between December 1970 and January 1971. The Scouts in this photograph are wearing a mixture of Scout shirts and Camp shirts adorned with Jamboree badges and fringes along the collar and sleeves. It appears that the photograph was taken during the evening as a gas lamp is being used on the table as a light source. A penned note on the back identifies the 2nd North Bondi Troop and the dating of the photograph.
