BeskrivelseMedallion cast in bronze, produced in 1967, to which every Anzac soldier who served on the Gallipoli peninsula, was entitled (on application). The medallion depicts a soldier and donkey carrying a wounded soldier and "1915" and "ANZAC". On the reverse is a map of Australia and "H.S.Myslis" - the donor's uncle to whom the medallion was issued. The medallion is in a strong spring case covered in blue velvet. The medallion and its miniature were issued to Henry Samuel (Harry) Myslis as a veteran of the Gallipoli campaign. Donated by Harry's nephews Gordon and Norman Rich. Myslis' family first arrived in Australia in 1882 and successive generations contributed much to Australian life and war efforts.
