BeskrivelseOne of 12 b/w photographs of the World Gathering of Jewish War Veterans on the Occasion of their Pilgrimage to Israel, held 14-25 September 1962. This photograph shows a solemn ceremony at Yad Vashem, Jerusalem, memorial to the six million martyrs. The delegates stand in solemn silence as a tribute to the martyrs. At the gathering, the Australian Jewish Veterans were represented by Harry S. Goldstein, President of the Australian Federation of Jewish Ex-Service Associations and Neville Milston, Honorary Secretary of NAJEX.
