Crisis and genocide in Yugoslavia, 1985-1995

The war in Yugoslavia was widely broadcast but for the most part the world did not intervene. Serbs fought Muslim Bosnians, Muslim Bosnians fought Croats and Serbs and this took place in what had been a peaceful and ethnically mixed Yugoslavia.
