After two generations of denial and suppression, the Swiss are begrudgingly coming to terms with their war-time dealings with the Nazis. It is argued the Swiss gave critical support to the Nazi as the financiers of Nazi Germany however although they acknowledge their part they maintain they were not "downright criminals" like others
