Describes two wartime hostels for young refugees who arrived in Britain under the auspices of the Refugee Children’s Movement. One hostel was in Tylers Green, a village near High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, and the other in Great Chesterford, Essex. Also mentioned is the postwar Freshwater Hostel, Golders Green.
