Although called Jewish Chronicle there is nothing particularly Jewish about the coverage on pages 1 – 4. There is very broad coverage of the war both in Europe and the Far East and Japan’s far reaching successes are reported in detail. The various regulations governing “Stateless Refugees” in Shanghai are shown in detail, with precise demarcations of the districts assigned to them in the SIS (Shanghai International Settlement).
