الوصفSand coloured thick woollen 'pullover' or jumper with roll neck and one remaining brown button, made in Neuilly, France. It originally belonged to Dunera Boy Peter Lasky. It was given to him by the donor's father-in-law. In Lasky’s words from the accompanying hand-written letter (in the file), “No sooner had I arrived in Internment Camp Hay after the Dunera voyage than a huge suitcase arrived from the Beckers – I should say Paul Becker – with absolutely EVERYTHING (incl. toothpaste) and also the jumper. After all our belongings had been pillaged or destroyed we had nothing to protect us against the bitterly cold evenings and morning roll-calls. This jumper is the only memento I kept.”
