There are no apparent silver marks nor hallmarks. The work could be of North African or Iranian origin, most likely by a Jewish silversmith, dated c 1900. The item is in four pieces: a: cylinder; b: base; c: small lift-out piece, and d: roll-on rod with a decorated bone handle.
