Nathan Levine, 1925. The book was used in the Pearlman family who received their initial Jewish education via correspondence, living as they were in the regional town of Moree, NSW in the 1950s and early 1960s. Zara and Hyman Pearlman had three children; Lesley born 1950, Yvonne born 1952 and Alan born 1956. The Pearlman family were wheat farmers and the children participated in a correspondence course organised by the United Jewish Education Board from 1956-62. The course was run by Cala Rosenberg and Ella Barr, and linked Jewish families in regional areas in Victoria, Tasmania, New South Wales and New Zealand.
