Arieh Wilner returned from Eastern Poland to Warsaw in October 1941. He wrote a comprehensive review of the Soviet area in the early months after the outbreak of war between Germany and the USSR. He brought the first reports of the mass murder of Jews in Ponar, written in Polish. This is the first time it was published in English
