الوصف

Adler delves into the mutual perceptions of different ethnic groups deep in the Soviet rear, far from the fighting, and tackles this issue on the basis of the history of the Polish Jewish refugees. She analyzes the way members of the group perceived their sojourn in the Soviet Union - both in the Gulag, where many of them initially landed, and in the Soviet rear after the release of these Gulag prisoners in the aftermath of the Sikorski-Maisky Agreement of July 1941
