Tefillah: To judge ourselves, to judge our siddur

A major challenge for Progressive Jews in the generation ahead is to come to terms with prayer and the 'siddur'. Most affiliates of the Australian and New Zealand Union for Progressive Judaism are creating their own 'siddurim' To enable Progressive Jews to be part of the rich fabric of Judaism these 'siddurim' must 'reinterpret' through commentary and not 'rewrite' the traditional liturgy.
