Between liberation and revolution: Hungarian Jewry, 1945-1948

This article addresses the period between 1945 and 1948 and the struggle of the Hungarian Jew in a time of the liberation from Nazism and the consolidation of the Communist regime - this was one of climatic struggle for the spiritual image and political future of Hungary's Jews.
