DescriptionWW1 Projectile/Bullet found in vegetable fields near the village of Fromelles in a 'No-man's land' during Battle of Fromelles in 1916. The item was obtained in July 2010, in conjunction with the dedication of new Fromelles Commonwealth War Graves Cemetery, where 250 Soldiers from WW1 were re-buried (after being discovered in mass burial pits and DNA tested), including 96 identified Diggers, amongst them the Jewish Lt Berrol Mendelsohn.
