My Dear, it has been only a couple of hours but it already seems to me so long since our last nice time in Genova. I cheer myself up with the idea to see you soon in Milan....
She is intentionally moving to Milan and he will not be able to write her so often. He lent her the money for the trip and now has to face her family, father and sister, who are asking for the reason she has left (not mentioned). Her sister was supposed to send a parcel to her to Milan but she refused and her father refused to have lunch with all them. During lunch Moshè (maybe her brother) try to joke but has been asked to stop by her mother in German. Kirchner (another brother?) instead agreed with him about her leaving.
The last part of the letter is all about how the sender cherishes their love in a very descriptive and romantic way.
