DescriptionThis is the first of three typed letters (this one dated 14 Nov 1949) sent by the Australian Jewish Welfare Society (AJWS) and signed by W.L. Brand, its General Secretary, to Mrs Reder (mother of the donor) relating to her having broken kosher regulations, "the kashrus regulations at Chip-Chase", a housing institution of the AJWS in Greenwich. This letter informs her that she will be rehoused if she does not comply with Chip-Chase's "rules and regulations". The three letters were sent by Registered mail.
