DescriptionThis is a photo album compiled by Edgar Kelson of the 1st Sydney Judean and 2nd Bondi Judean Scout Troops. The album features photographs of the 1st Sydney Judean Scouts participating in various outdoor activities including tracking, collecting firewood, boating, high-wide jumping and team games, images of a Winter Excursion to the Mountains in 1926/27, images of the Easter Camp in 1927 and images of an excursion to Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park. The album also features photographs of the 2nd Bondi Judean Troop during Old Randwick Rifle Range practice, a Woronora River Hike, the 1929 Christmas Camp at East Hills and camps at Pennant Hills during 1930. Edgar Kelson was the founder of the 2nd Bondi Judean Scout Troop in 1927. He was Scoutmaster of the troop until he enlisted in the A.I.F after the outbreak of WWII.
