Description5 Mark coin from the Lodz Ghetto, Poland. The coin is of a light weight metal alloy. One side of it has the Jewish star, the date 1943 (hardly visible in this example), and the word 'getto.' The Lodz ghetto was renamed Litzmannstadt by the Germans.
