DescriptionThis Ration card was issued to Greta Kohn (spelt Cohn), by the Jewish Self-Administration in Terezin Ghetto, signed by Jakob Edelstein (by red ink signature-stamp). Card Number 07966, Transport number AAv number 889. The card was mounted on cardboard and featured in the SJM exhibition called "Within the Walls" Sydney Jewish Museum in 1998. The card is of irregular shape due cutting off the relevant portions of rations as claimed at the time. Card has small squares with numbers and letters for example 1A, 2A etc. Most of the daily necessities in the ghetto were rationed and this card was most probably used for food rationing.
