Prickly Heat was a rash affecting soldiers fighting in hot climates. On jungle campaigns such as the Kokoda Track footwear was often worn for up to two weeks at a time, and soldiers suffered from the tropical skin condition Prickly Heat, causing the skin of the feet to rot.
