Born 2 January 1909 in Newcastle NSW enlisted with the Australian Army 11 March 1942. He was discharged the 18 June 1946 from Oro Bay WKSP. During WWII, Oro Bay in Papua New Guinea was used as a staging area for the battle of Buna-Gona and future operations.
Lewis Phillips NX45035
Born 19 September 1916 in Sydney NSW enlisted with the Australian Army 18 September 1941. He was discharged from the 2/6 Armoured Regiment the 2 November 1945.
