DescriptionBlack and white photograph depicting three local Jewish women posing for a photo with Dr. Adalbert Feher (the physician for company 108/57 of the Hungarian Labour Service) and two other Jewish conscripts from Company 108/57. Typed red text in the left of the picture reads: 'Dr. Feher', 'First Aid-station' and 'Jewish girls'. Black text on the back of the photograph states: 'Friedmann'. A note states that Friedmann is: 'now called Arnold Fiala' and he lives in 'Double Bay'. This photograph is from a collection of photographs donated to the museum by Dr. Adalbert Feher which he took in Sianki, [Ukraine] Poland between 1941- 1942. The collection of photographs document the life and routine of the Hungarian Labour Service and their encounter and friendship with the local Jewish community.The docotors of the Hungarian Labor service offered medical assistance to the local Jewish community in Sianki.
