DescriptionBlack and white photograph depicting Adalbert Feher, the Jewish physician for company 108/57 of the Hungarian Labour Service.This photograph is from a collection of photographs donated to the museum by Dr. Feher, which he took in Sianki, [Ukraine] Poland between 1941- 1942. The collection documents the life and routine of the Hungarian Labour Service and their encounter and friendship with the local Jewish community. In a letter to the museum, Dr. Feher describes that the docotors of the Hungarian Labor service offered medical assistance to the local Jewish community in Sianki. In this photograph Dr. Feher is pictured standing in uniform. Typed black text in the bottom right corner of the photograph states 'Dr. Med.' On the Back of the photograph typed, black text reads: 'Dr. Feher, Poland, 1942'. Also on the back of the photograph is a sticker with Dr. Feher's current (2011) address details.
