DescriptionBlack and white photograph depicting six Jewish conscripts of the Hungarian Labour Service Company 108/57. The conscripts are standing in the snow, they are posing for the photo and hold shovels (used to clear snow from the road as part of their forced labour). Typed, red text in the top right corner of the picture states: 'Return'. This likely refers to the fact that they are returning to camp for the night. This photograph is from a collection of photographs donated to the museum by Dr. Adalbert Feher who was the physician of the Hungarian Labour Service in Company 108/57. Dr. Feher took the photographs between 1941- 1942 to document the life and routine of the Hungarian Labour Service at this time.
