DescriptionLeather taxi money pouch used by the donor's father Nicholas Hart in 1952. Nicholas was a distiller in Presov, Czechoslovakia but could not resume his profession when he came to Australia with his family in April 1952. He became a taxi owner and driver. This taxi driver's money pouch was placed around the steering column to hold fares.
