Page 2 of the supplement shows an illustration by Marcuse titled “How the Weather Man Helps the Modern Flier.” These illustrations are shown in conjunction with photographs of the Australian weather bureau Marcuse’s signature appears on this page on the centre right illustration.
Ernst Marcuse (1900-1985) was a commercial artist and illustrator who came to Australia in 1939. He produced many war illustrations for The Argus Newspaper and joined the Australian Army where he produced many visual aid material for training and illustrating for Army publications.
