DescriptionThree page hand written letter on Australian Comforts Fund (Victoria Division) stationary from Edward to Kitty dated 18th August 1941. Edward writes about how letters sent by air arrive at the same time as by boat so she should just save them money and send them by boat. He writes about family dramas between his sister and his mother as his mother is quite over bearing. He tells Kitty about all the people he has to write and how it’s impossible with his hectic schedule. He talks about how he’s been entertaining himself at the base. Edward states that he numbers his letter so Kitty knows if a page has gone missing.
