DescriptionDutch identity card issued to Nathan de Vries who spent two years hiding in an attic in Amsterdam during the war. The card is dated 19 of September 1941 and is stamped with the letter 'J' for Jew. It lists his address as being Weesperzijde 23 I and is used again on 2 June 1945 with a new address. Nathan went into hiding and had a fake identity card, it appears he resumed use of this card following the war. The card bears the Incasso-Bank NV stamp which means that Nathan has handed over his wealth to the bank.
