DescriptionGeneral invitation to a Public Meeting convened by the Rt. Hon. The Lord Mayor of Sydney (Alderman R.C. Hagon), held at the Town Hall, Sydney, on Thursday, 18 May 1933 at 8 pm. Organised by the German Jewish Refugees Appeal, this meeting was to "protest against the Nazi Persecution of the Jews." An organist would begin playing at 7:15 pm, the Lord Mayor would preside and prominent public men would address the meeting.
