DescriptionList of competitors on the men's and women's Maccabean Sports Association (NSW) teams participating in the Centenary Year Interstate Sports Carnival, which was held in Melbourne from 26 December 1934 - 5 January 1935. This 2 page, typed list includes the names of each team member followed by a letter abbreviation for the sports in which they were competitng. There are also notes hand written in pencil on each page. This Jewish Sports Carnival saw the host teams from the Associated Judean Athletic Clubs (The AJAX) vs the Maccabean Sports Association (NSW) teams and the West Australian Zionist Athletic Club teams in cricket, gymnastics, tennis, swimming, athletics and basketball. Of note in the list are manager Cecil M Goldstein, who was also President of the Maccabean Sports Association, and competitor and team captain for ladies basketball and athletics, Mrs Norman Solomon (nee Ruth Goldberg).
