DescriptionList of competitors from the Maccabean Sports Association (NSW) participating in the Centenary Year Interstate Sports Carnival, which was held in Melbourne from 26 December 1934 - 5 January 1935. This 2 1/2 page, typed list includes the breakdown of individuals participating on each team and the mangers and captains of the teams. This Jewish Sports Carnival saw the men's and women's host teams from the Associated Judean Athletic Clubs (The AJAX) vs the Maccabean Sports Association (NSW) teams and the West Australian Zionist Athletic Club teams in cricket, gymnastics, tennis, swimming, athletics and basketball. Of note in the list are manager Cecil M Goldstein, who was also President of the Maccabean Sports Association, and competitor and team captain for ladies basketball and athletics, Mrs Norman Solomon (nee Ruth Goldberg). Pages are attached to one another with a 15 mm metal pin.
