DescriptionVisitor's Souvenir Interstate Sports Carnival Invitation to the AJAX Teams from the President, Executive & Committee of the Maccabean Sports Association, Cecil M. Goldstein, President. It invites the AJAX Teams to all functions and sports competitions throughout the carnival. This Interstate Sports Carnival was held from 25 December 1933 - 4 January 1934, in Sydney, and saw the men's and women's Maccabean (NSW) teams vs the AJAX (VIC) teams in cricket, gymnastics, tennis, swimming, athletics and basketball. There were also debates, dances, theatre nights, harbour cruises, dinners and luncheons. The invitation itself is cream-coloured with navy print; the front cover has a scalloped edge and a textured pale pink border.
