DescriptionAn album containing 5 gramophone records, purchased at Kings Cross Radio Centre, Sydney, by donor Sam Woolf's family during World War II. The album cover reads "Jewish Records", and the five records inside, each held in individual brown paper sleeves, are primarily recordings of Jewish humour and comedy. The records are as follows: Joe and Paul - Parts 1 and 2; Walking Down Lovers' Lane and Weil ich bin a Yid (both in Yiddish); Basic Yiddish - Lessons 1 and 2; Sit, Sit, Sit - Parts 1 and 2; and The Family Goes to Coney Island and Story of a Bar Mitzvah Boy.
