Description12 page black and white booklet, staple bound, titled "Remember the Warsaw Ghetto". It was issued on 22nd May, 1944, by the Board of Deputies of British Jews (by courtesy of The Federation of Polish Jews in Gt. Britain), "In Tribute to the Heroes". This booklet contains a detailed account of the uprising of the Warsaw Ghetto, which lasted from April 18 - May 16, 1943, as its remaining 40,000 Jewish residents were faced with liquidation. The front cover of the booklet is a collage of photos and the back cover is the suicide letter of Szmul Zygielbojm, leader of the Jewish-Polish Socialist Party who killed himself to protest the indifference of the Allied nations in the face of the Holocaust. The booklet also contains a list of known ghetto resistance fighters who were killed in the uprising.
