DescriptionTwo (2) Reichs Mark (RM) note to be used at the Standort-Kantine, in the Buchenwald concentration camp. This note is printed on cream paper with orange decorative underprinting, serial no. 96990. These "Wertmarke", or bonus money coupons, were issued to inmates who were permitted to have their families send them money at the camp. The camp administration would receive the funds and give this camp currency to the prisoner to purchase goods which had been acquired cheaply or produced in the camp.
