DescriptionBlack and white photograph showing Hitler at an event. He is seated at a table with Martin Bormann, a prominent Nazi official close to Hitler, to his right, and Wilhelm Keitel (with his back to camera) is seated across from Hitler. Keitel was a General and signed Germany's surrender document on 8 May 1945. He was later hanged as a war criminal. Also in the photograph is Rear Admiral Karl-Jesko von Puttkamer, Hitler's naval aide, who is seen standing, conversing with Hitler. The photograph was taken by Heinrich Hoffman, Hitler's personal photographer, and this is a copy of the original from Hoffmann's archives.
