DescriptionBlack and white photographgraph of Rear Admiral Karl-Jesko von Puttkamer, Hitler's naval aide (pictured in unifrom without a hat). Puttkamer was born in Frankfurt (Oder) on 24 March 1900 and was a member of the Puttkamer family. He was injured on 20 July 1944 when the bomb exploded during the July 20 attempt to kill Hitler. Puttkamer died in Neuried on 4 March 1981. Dr Theo Morell, Hitler's personal physician, can be seen on the far left (in civilian suit). This is a copy of the original photographgraph by Heinrich Hoffman, from Hoffmann's archives.
