DescriptionCollection of 11 black and white photographs (a-k; on a single sheet) that belonged to Alf Davis, an Australian Jewish soldier who served in the Philippines in WWII. The photographs were taken at Santo Tomas, a University that served as a civilian internment camp during WWII and was liberated on 5 Feb 1945. In the photos General Blamey is seen speaking to civilian internees (presumably British and American) and servicemen after the liberation of Manila from Japanese occupation.
