DescriptionA small, embossed, cut out card showing a Jewish family, mother, father and two children, performing Kapparot on the eve of Yom Kippur. The man holds a live rooster, to which his sins will be symbolically transferred during the ceremony. Then, the chicken is slaughtered and given to the poor. The card is copyright by Hebrew Publishing Company, USA, 1906.
